The report on Kutaisi courts was discussed at the meeting of the network of courtwatchers

On December 2022, 16, at the initiative of the Georgian Court Watch, another meeting of the court Watch Network was held in Kutaisi, whose members are lawyers and active citizens interested in the topic of the Judiciary.

The meeting was led by the director of the Georgian Court Watch Nazi Janezashvili and legal expert Keti Gachechiladze. 
At the meeting, Nazi Janezashvili introduced the report on Kutaisi city and appellate courts to the members of the network, which was prepared within the framework of the project. Keti Gachechiladze held a presentation on judicial reforms.

The network of court Watchmen was created within the framework of the project "active citizen engagement for a better judicial system". The project is funded by the European fund, within the framework of the grant of the Danish international development agency.  

The project aims to improve the independence, impartiality, and efficiency of the judiciary through civic participation, monitoring, and advocacy. Accordingly, the Georgian Court Watch has created a network of active citizens in Kutaisi and Rustavi.
