Georgian Court Watch conducted training for media representatives

On September 17-18, the Georgian Court Watch conducted training for media representatives.

The event was dedicated to the challenges in the Georgian court system and the jury trial.

The meeting was led by:
• Nazi Janezashvili, director of the Court Watch,
• Eka Areshidze, the judge of the criminal law board of the Tbilisi City Court,
• Guro Imnadze, Director of the Justice and Democracy Program of the Center for Social Justice.

Representatives of central TV stations, radio, and online media attended the training.

The training was conducted within the framework of the project - "Georgian Court Effectiveness Index" with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
