On October 7, Georgian Court Watch held a public discussion at Caucasus University.
The director of the organization, Nazi Janezashvili, introduced to the audience the project "Citizens Monitor Courts", which is implemented by Georgian Court Watch with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program. It should be noted, any interested person can participate in the monitoring of court processes as a volunteer.
At the meeting, the representatives of the organization - Megi Shamatava and Salome Kvirikashvili spoke about the problems and trends identified in connection with the attendance at the Supreme Council of Justice sessions. The students also received information on various issues identified while working on articles prepared for the online publication of the Court Watch, CourtWatch.ge (a project supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
