On September 30, Georgian Court Watch held a public discussion regarding the publicity and accountability of the judicial system at the "Ligamus" book house in Iliauni.
At the meeting, employees of Georgian Court Watch - Salome Kvirikashvili, Megi Shamatava, and Davit Solomonidze shared their experience with the students regarding the problematic issues that the organization revealed during its work. They talked about the trends identified as a result of monitoring the sessions of the Supreme Council of Justice and the availability of public information in the judicial system.
In addition, the representatives of the organization introduced the participants to the project - "Monitoring of Courts by Citizens", which is implemented by the Court Watch of Georgia with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Program.
