Court Watch held a seminar for journalists in Zugdidi

On April 27, the Georgian Court Watch held a seminar for local media representatives in Zugdidi on the topic: topical issues of judicial reform.

The invited experts were lawyers Nika Simonishvili and Megi Shamatava.

Nika Simonishvili reviewed judicial appointments and issues of corporativism in the court.

Megi Shamatava held a presentation on the organization's project "judicial system efficiency index" and spoke about accountability and transparency of the judiciary.

The meeting continued in the mode of discussion.

The Georgian Court Watch regularly conducts awareness-raising activities for media, students, and public representatives about challenges in the court system.
